Working with Wool
Creativity inspired by both the landscape and the material
Wool is an amazing, beautiful product and for us, provides a superb creative medium with which to work. We started with needle felting, developed our wet felting and are now weaving by hand on a peg loom.
The more we work with wool, the more we find we can do with it. From needle felting the characters of Cumbria, to capturing the colours and textures of lakeland through wet felted vessels and hand made, peg loomed rugs and wall hangings. The seasonal changes in the landscape are captivating and an endless wellspring of inspiration for all of our work.
